I was lucky to get this exceptional strand of antique bohemian glass beads or pendants.
They were produced in Czechoslovakia about 100 to 220 years ago for the trade with African countries.
They show a very rare dome shape and fit together almost seamlessly. (I secretly call them UFOs).
They are made of clear crystal glass but through age and use the surface is milky matte with a little brownish patina due to the stay in the Sahara desert.
The strand ist 65 cm (25") long and the beads have a diameter of 12,3mm with a height of ca. 8mm.
